Yuliya Borowski

Yuliya Borowski

Founder & Director

Yuliya Borowski adores first endeavors, mistakes, stumbles, messes, loud noises and everything young child's growth entails. As a director and owner of the program, Yuliya wears many hats, but first and foremost she is a teacher, always warm loving heart, listening ears and get-down to the floor level connector. Yuliya holds a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Lesley University. Among many curriculum education specializations, Yuliya is also certified baby and toddler yoga instructor. She teaches baby and toddler yoga sessions at the local community center, library and special events. Yuliya brings a vast and diverse skill set to her role as a result of her extensive experience in international education and traveling. She places high value on cultural diversity and speaks several languages. Her approach towards creative arts and education includes an interdisciplinary perspective, which incorporates multiple artistic modalities. Among Yuliya's personal favorites are theater/drama and music. Above all, she prioritizes and exemplifies principles of patience, compassion, and motivation throughout her work in early childhood education. In her free time, Yuliya enjoys yoga, running, biking, reading, and being an incredible Mom of three.

Every child is already whole. My job is to create the space where they can discover that for themselves.

Renata Frade

Renata Frade

Lead Educator

Renata Frade has been part of the Bonsai family for over five years and since she has grown to be an integral part of our community and children's lives. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience working with children in Brazil, where she has spent most of her life. Renata obtained her Bachelor's degree in Speech Therapy and has worked in patient rehabilitation and child language stimulation, as well as hospital setting with children who require additional assistance. Renata shares: "Ever since I relocated to the Boston area, without speaking a word of English, the language was a barrier for me to feel adapted in this country, so I started studying right away. I believe that childhood learning takes place through the exchange of experiences and affection, and I, as an affectionate Brazilian with a thirst for learning, guarantee that I will dedicate myself to this exchange daily. I love sharing my experience in the child care setting now and bringing certain aspects of my culture through music, interactive play, and storytelling." Renata is now a mom to a beautiful baby girl, Lia, who is also her assistant in caring for other infants, well most of the time.
